The annual Smokey Bear Fire Prevention Parade will be held on Thursday July 18, 2013 beginning at 5:00 PM. The parade is named in honor of Karl Kenyon, the late Deputy Chief of the Dunn's Corners Fire Department and a great friend to many current and former local firefighters.

This year's parade will also be raising money to donate to the families of the 19 members of the elite wildland firefighting crew who tragically lost their lives in Yarnell, Arizona.

The parade will kick off sharply at 5:00 PM from Dunn's Corners Fire Department Station #1 on Langworthy Road. Residents from all towns are invited to join us on the parade route. The parade will be stopping for approximately 10 minutes at each of the designated stops.
