Members of the Watch Hill Fire Department spent time cleaning up after winter storm Kenan today. The Watch Hill Fire District received approximately 20 inches of snow during yesterday weather event. The high winds and blowing snow created sizable snow drifts resulting in many of the districts fire hydrants being covered over and in some cases buried due to road clean-up. As of early this afternoon all of the districts hydrants had been inspected and cleared.
