WHFD asks residents to consider adopting a fire hydrant this winter. With news of a winter storm on the way, please consider making a fire hydrant near your home accessible on all sides. By clearing the hydrant of snow in 3 feet in all directions, you are helping us help you.

Of course our firefighters will be out in the community shoveling the hydrants, but your help is greatly appreciated.
