The Washington County Fire Wire is a consortium of local firefighters who created a Facebook page to serve as a resource to the community for information related to active emergency fire incidents in Washington County, Rhode Island as well as nearby Southeastern Connecticut.

Every week, in addition to posting news of local incidents, the Washington County Fire Wire dedicates a post to a local agency that serves the Washington County Area.
