Watch Hill firefighters are displaying a green light this week in support of National EMS Week as a show of our appreciation and recognition of the strong support and cooperation we continually receive from our local EMS partners.

May 17 through 23 is the 46th annual National EMS Week which celebrates EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our communities. EMS Week brings together local communities to honor the dedication of those who provide the day to day lifesaving services of medicine's front line first responders.

Throughout the year and especially during this very important week, we support all of our brothers and sisters providing EMS in all of our mutual aid Fire Departments as well as all of our brother and sisters in the Westerly Ambulance, the Charlestown Ambulance, the Ashaway Ambulance, the Hope Valley Ambulance, the Stonington Ambulance, the North Stonington Ambulance, and the Mystic River Ambulance.
