Watch Hill Fire Department Assists at Local Blaze

Members of the Watch Hill Fire Department were called to duty on Wednesday May 27th when a local mill in Pawcatuck, CT caught fire. Several local departments were dispatched to the multi-alarm blaze which took nearly five hours to contain. The dedicated members of the Watch Hill Fire Department initially provided stand-by coverage at both of Westerly's stations and later was dispatched to the fire scene to fill SCBA air cylinders with the department's Air Cascade Unit. As always, the members of the Watch Hill Fire Department are to be commended for their service to the community.
