WHFD Responds to Fully-Involved Boat Fire

The members of the Watch Hill Fire Department were dispatched to report of a boat fire off of the Watch Hill Lighthouse early this morning. Upon arrival, Chief Peacock reported a fully-involved boat with several other boats in the area to assist. Chief Peacock immediately requested the Marine Unit from the Mystic Fire Department to assist. Additional units from the Stonington Police and a United States Coast Guard helicopter were also on scene to assist.
