Watch Hill Firefighters are conducting their annual driver recertification training evolutions.

The attached photos are screenshots from drone footage made during the driver training exercise to verify that Ladder 104 can still safely make the tight turn from Larkin Road onto Lighthouse Road following the reconstruction, regrading, and repaving of Larkin Road which included enlarging the existing sidewalks, adding new sidewalks, and diminishing the overall width of Larkin Road by several feet.

As expected from our participation in the construction planning meetings and based on the measurements provided during the planning and construction process, the turn is definitely much tighter but Watch Hill Ladder 104 (our largest and longest truck) is still able to make the turn safely.
