Early in the morning on Sunday December 9, 2018 while battling a 5 alarm building fire in the City of Worcester, Firefighter Christopher Roy, 36 of Ladder 4 died in the line of duty. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Roy family and the members of the Worcester Fire Department.

The fire service is a brother and sisterhood that knows no borders. We stand together in remembering Firefighter Roy and all those who have served.
