With the end of another summer season drawing to a close, many residents and visitors will make their way home for the winter season and in the last few weeks there has been an influx of visitors to the station to visit the hydrants on their way out of town.

Many are armed with cameras to take photos of our ever increasing collection of antique fire hydrants. The collection attracts visitors from far and wide and many visit on an annual basis to see what new hydrants have become part of our truly unique collection.

A special thanks to all who visit and to all those who take pride in this unique collection which now numbers 223 hydrants.
